The Global Methodist Church (GMC) believes that mission work is important and encourages each congregation to participate in both local missions and worldwide missions. At Cornerstone, we believe every follower of Christ is called to be His hands and feet - serving others with compassion and love.

July-August 2026 - School Supply Drive for Children in Crisis

Ongoing
- The Lamb Center is supported regularly by Cornerstone Church as breakfast is served, clothes are washed, and support is given to the unsheltered in our community. Learn more by clicking the button on the side.
- Disaster Relief Team
- $100 per month is given to Emerald Coast Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
- $200 per month is given to One Hopeful Place to help feed the homeless in our area.
- Supporting the Emerald Coast Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
- Thursday morning Community Breakfasts
- Donations towards the Methodist Nomads
- Teenager Support Mission are monetary donations that will be used to purchase gift cards for teenagers in need. This age group of children are often forgotten about, but many are still in need and like to shop for their own clothing or personal items.

PREVIOUS MISSION WORK:
- Free Lemonade Stand during a FWB parade
- FWB Christmas Parade Hospitality Tent with free cocoa
- Sponsor for Strike Out Child Abuse Bowl-A-Thon.
- An Inaugural Chili Cook-Off Dinner raised over $2,800 to support the Mission Team’s many missions.
-Thanksgiving Meal bags were donated by congregants to provide a meal to those in need at local schools.
- Sock-tober encouraged people to donate socks that will provided to the unsheltered community members.
- A First Responder Appreciation Dinner was hosted in conjunction with the Exchange Club of the Emerald Coast.
- Children in Crisis School Supply drive - School supplies filled bags for the children in foster care at the CIC to donate to their classes for the new school year!
-The teenagers living in the efficiency apartments at Children in Crisis who are in school/college received a $100 gift card for back-to-school clothing and/or footwear purchases.
-The TX Flood Relief Fund through the GMC was supported through a special offering. $5000 was sent to support the GMC churches in the area that were affected by the devastating floods.
- Paper goods donated for Children in Crisis, a local set of foster homes that are capable of housing larger groups of siblings. The homes go through paper products quickly: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, plates, and tissues.
- Non-perishable food items donated towards both students and Silver Sands School and Catholic Charities, a food bank at which the students work in order to learn job skills.

FOREIGN MISSIONS:

July 2026 - A group is going to Honduras

Ongoing - A monetary donation is provided to support a food outreach in Honduras. $500 is given quarterly for “Feed the Children.”

January 2026 - Overseas Mission Trip

July 2025 - A group from Cornerstone went to Honduras summer of 2025. Completed projects included Vacation Bible School, construction work, and evangelism efforts in elementary schools and local neighborhoods. School supplies and a variety of homemade girl dresses were taken on the mission.

January 2025 - A group from Cornerstone went to overseas to support mission work there. $5,500 was raised for this endeavor in addition to many donations of clothing, tools, and other items.
